Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) has announced a 15.7895% dividend proposal for the fiscal year 2080/81.

During its 106th board meeting held on Mangsir 17, the company proposed distributing 15% in bonus shares and 0.7895% in cash dividends to cover applicable taxes. The dividend distribution will be finalized after receiving approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission and ratification at the company's upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The book closure date for the dividend has been set for Poush 11, meaning only shareholders holding shares until Poush 10 are eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the AGM.

As of yesterday, MEN's stock price stood at Rs. 719.00.
